The city itself Yesk can be conditionally divided into several districts - Yeysk Spit, port area, merchant city, Taganrog embankment, military town, industrial zone, new residential area and Shirochanka. For vacationers and tourists, the area of the Yeysk Spit is most interesting, where on the shore of the Azov Sea there are recreation centers, city beaches, a yacht club and a large city park with attractions. Next to the spit there is a port area with the Yeysk seaport itself and a railway station, as well as several industrial enterprises. In the future, the seaport is planned to be moved outside the city. Next is the historical part of the city - the merchant, which was built in the nineteenth century. On the western side of the city there is a military camp with the Yeysk Higher Aviation School, and behind it is the Yeysk airport. In the same area is one of the main sights of Yeysk - the park named after Poddubny. To the south of the merchant part of the city there is an industrial zone and a new residential area, and further on is the village of Shirochanka, which is also part of Yeysk.
A large number of shrubs and trees makes Yeysk one of the greenest cities in the region. One of the largest green areas of Yeysk is the Poddubny Park, which has a huge collection of attractions, one of the most complete in Russia. The park is a favorite resting place for locals and visiting tourists. There are a large number of summer cafes, quiet alleys and fountains in it. Closer to the city center is the Gorky Park, which, unlike the Poddubny Park, has no attractions, but there are many sculptures and monuments, as well as an Orthodox cathedral. If you move further, you can get to Nikolsky Park - the only round park in the city. Seaside Park is located next to the Taganrog embankment. In addition to parks, Yeysk has a large number of green squares scattered throughout the city.
Not far from Yeysk is Khanskoye Lake, which is known for its sources of hydrogen sulfide and iodine-bromine mineral waters, as well as therapeutic mud. Muds are used to improve metabolic processes in the body, remove salts of heavy metals and radionuclides from the body, muds have anti-inflammatory, absorbable and analgesic effects on the human body, and also improve its motor functions.
